What Dana's team hands back

  • Every state of the screenPiper, Product designer
  • Every string, in placeWilla, UX writer

Screens that work until something goes wrong.

  • A screen works on the happy path and nowhere else.
  • Error messages say what went wrong, but not what to do.
  • Every new screen starts from a blank page.

Two designers: how it works, and what it says.

How the product looks, behaves and reads.

  • Piper designs the screens

    Product designer

Screens and flows in your own design system, The empty, loading, partial and error states are designed before the ready one, and each screen names the decision it asks for.

    What Piper hands back

    • Each state of the screen
    • Every component, named from your system
    • Keyboard and focus behavior
    • The WCAG 2.2 AA checks it meets
    • Screens
    • Flows
    • States
    • Accessibility
  • Willa writes the words

    UX writer

Labels, empty states, errors, confirmations and onboarding. An error says what happened and what to do next. A button says what it does.

    What Willa hands back

    • Each string, where it appears
    • What it asks the reader to do
    • Its length limit
    • What a screen reader announces
    • Errors
    • Empty states
    • Buttons
    • Onboarding

How Dana works.

  1. You ask your co-founder

Your co-founder only routes. It hands the design work to Dana and does none of it.

  2. Dana splits the work

Dana runs the screen with Piper and the words with Willa at the same time, from the same description of what the product already does.

  3. You get it back, checked

Dana checks what the specialists wrote and writes the answer you read. Putting a screen or a string into a connected app waits for a yes.

Still deciding?

Ask anything about your brand, the teams or the bill.

Will it use our design system?
Yes. Piper works in your own colors, type and components, taken from your brand and its existing screens. When there is no system to follow, Piper says so.
Does it design for accessibility?
Yes. Piper designs every screen to WCAG 2.2 AA, including text contrast, target sizes, a visible focus and an alternative to every drag.
Is Dana's team in every brand?
Yes. Every brand starts with all nine teams and their 34 agents, Dana's among them.
Can we change how the team works?
Yes. An owner or an admin can change any agent's instructions, add a specialist to a team, or archive one you do not need, from Organization in your workspace.

Hand Dana's team its first piece of work.

Dana and two specialists come with every brand. Give your co-founder your website and they work from what your pages say.
