The short version
- Sinrix is for businesses. You need to be 18 or older and able to agree for the business you sign up for.
- Your brand's agents work in your name, inside the access you give them. Anything that sends, posts, books, changes or deletes in your apps waits for a yes, unless you let a routine act on its own.
- What agents produce can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it.
- Your content is yours. We use it only to run your brand, and never to train AI models.
- Plans are per brand, billed monthly or yearly, with AI usage included every month. Credit you add does not expire, and automatic top-up stays off until you turn it on. Cancel any time: your plan runs to the end of what you paid for, then your brand is kept, stopped, for 30 days, then deleted.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Sinrix ("Sinrix", "we", "us") for the Sinrix service: the website at sinrix.com, your account, and every brand you create with it. By creating an account or a brand, you accept these terms. If you accept them for a business, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" means that business.
Four other documents are part of these terms: the Acceptable Use Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and, for personal data your brand handles, the Data Processing Addendum.
2. The service
In short: A brand has its own database and files, kept apart from every other brand's, and runs a co-founder you name and the agent teams that work under them, for you and the people you invite.
When you create a brand, we set up a brand for you, with its own database and files, kept apart from every other brand's, which you open from your account at sinrix.com. It runs your co-founder, the agent teams every brand starts with, and the chats, files, knowledge, routines and approvals your people and agents work in. We run the brand for you, keep it updated (an update reaches it by itself and replaces its containers, so the brand can be briefly unavailable while it does, and work in progress carries on afterwards) and back it up every 24 hours, keeping each backup for 14 days, with a copy stored away from the server it runs on. Backups are restored by our team.
We improve Sinrix all the time, so features change, and some are added or removed. If we remove something material that you pay for, we tell you at least 30 days before, and you may cancel and receive a refund of fees you paid for the time after it is removed.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and use Sinrix for a business, including as a sole trader. Sinrix is not offered to consumers for personal use.
- Give us accurate details and keep them current, especially your email address, which is where we send codes, receipts and notices.
- Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once at legal@sinrix.com if you think someone else is using it.
- You may invite people to a brand as owners, admins or members. You are responsible for them following these terms, and for removing access they should no longer have.
4. AI agents and what they do
In short: Your agents work for you, in your name, inside the access you give them. You decide what they may do without asking, and you review what they produce.
Output can be wrong. Your co-founder and agents use AI models. What they write, find, summarize or build can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and may resemble what others receive. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Check it before you rely on it, publish it or act on it.
Agents act with the access you give them. When you or your people connect an app, you authorize your brand's agents to read from it and act in it within that connection's access. Anything that sends, posts, books, changes or deletes in a connected app waits for the person who owns that account to approve it, unless you set a routine to act on its own. What your agents do with an approval, or under a routine you set, is done on your behalf, and you are responsible for it, including every message they send to other people.
You can stop them. Decline an approval, pause a routine, disconnect an app or archive an agent, and that work stops.
- Do not use Sinrix to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people, such as hiring, credit, housing, insurance, health or legal matters, without a person reviewing each one.
- Where the law requires you to tell people they are dealing with AI, or that content was made with AI, you must tell them.
- The Acceptable Use Policy lists what your brand and its agents may never do.
5. Connected apps and other services
The apps you connect (email, calendars, chat, CRMs and the rest) belong to other companies and come with their own terms, which you must follow. You must have the right to connect each account. We are not responsible for those services, for changes to them, or for what they do with data you send them. We may add apps, or deprecate and retire one; a deprecated app keeps its existing connections until the date we give for retiring it.
If you set your own AI model key for a brand, its requests go straight to that provider under that provider's terms, and we neither meter them nor limit them.
6. Your content
In short: It is yours. We use it only to run your brand, and never to train AI models.
Your content is everything you, your people and your agents put into or produce in your brands: chats, files, knowledge, instructions you give your agents, and their output. You own it. You give us permission to host, copy, process, transmit and display it only as needed to run your brands, help you when you ask, keep Sinrix secure and meet the law.
- We do not use your content to train AI models, and the model provider we use does not train on it under its commercial terms.
- You are responsible for your content, for having the rights to it, and for having a lawful basis for any personal data in it. The Data Processing Addendum covers how we handle that personal data for you.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
7. Our access to your brand
We do not look at what is inside your brand as a matter of course. There are two exceptions, and both are limited:
- Support sessions. To help you, or to look into a problem with a brand, a member of our team may sign in as the brand's owner, for at most 60 minutes at a time. Every page shows them that they are signed in as the owner, and the timeline of each of your brands, which you see too, records each session.
- Server access. The servers brands run on are reached only by our own systems, with a key no person signs in with, to start, update and stop brands. Our team uses that access only to keep a brand running, to restore one, or when the law requires us to.
8. Plans, AI usage and billing
In short: A plan per brand, billed monthly or yearly, with AI usage included every month, credit you can add when you need more, and automatic top-up only if you turn it on.
- Plans. A plan is for one brand, billed monthly or yearly as you choose when you pay, in advance, in US dollars, through Stripe. It renews at the end of each month or year until it is canceled. Prices are on the Pricing page and on the page where you pay.
- Switching. You can switch a brand between monthly and yearly billing in the billing portal. The change is prorated: you are credited for the unused part of the current term and charged for the new one.
- Included AI usage. Each plan includes an amount of AI usage every month, whether you pay monthly or yearly, counted at the model prices we set. A month starts with your first payment and again every month after it, and on a yearly plan the allowance resets every month, not once a year. Included usage you do not use does not carry over.
- Added credit. You can add credit by card from your brand's AI usage page. It is used once the month's included usage runs out. It does not expire while the brand exists, has no cash value, and cannot be moved to another brand.
- Automatic top-up. Automatic top-up is off until a brand's owner turns it on and chooses a threshold and an amount. While it is on and the subscription is active, when the credit left falls below the threshold we charge that amount to the card on the subscription. Turning it on authorizes those charges; turn it off any time. If a charge is declined, we tell you by email and do not try again for a day.
- When usage runs out. A brand with no usage left stops starting new work until credit is added or a new month begins. Work already running finishes, and what it uses past the limit, never more than the larger of $1 and 5% of it, counts against your credit.
- Taxes. Prices do not include taxes unless they say so. You are responsible for taxes that apply, and where we must collect them, we add them to your invoice.
- Price changes. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies, and it applies from your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before then.
- Missed payments. If a renewal cannot be charged, we tell you and try again. If it stays unpaid, your brand is suspended: stopped, with everything in it kept. Paying brings it back.
- Refunds. Plan fees and credit purchases are not refundable, except where these terms say otherwise or the law requires it.
9. Canceling, and what happens to your data
You can cancel any time from your brand's Billing page, where the billing portal shows when your subscription ends. When it ends, your brand is stopped and kept for 30 days. Pay again within those 30 days and it comes back as it was. After that, your brand and everything in it, its backups included, is deleted and cannot be recovered.
While your brand runs, you can download your files from it. If you need help taking anything else out before it is deleted, write to support@sinrix.com. To close your account itself, write to privacy@sinrix.com.
10. Suspension and termination
We may pause a brand or suspend an account right away when that is needed to prevent harm: a security risk, a breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, unlawful use, or a legal requirement. Otherwise we tell you first and give you a chance to put things right. A paused brand keeps its data, and we lift the pause once the problem is resolved.
We may end these terms with you for a material breach you do not fix within 15 days of our notice, or for repeated breaches. If we stop offering Sinrix altogether, we tell you at least 60 days before and refund fees you paid for the time after it stops.
11. Using Sinrix fairly
- Do not copy, resell or offer Sinrix to others as a service without our written agreement.
- Do not reverse engineer it, get around its usage limits or security, or test its security without our permission. We welcome reports of security problems at legal@sinrix.com.
- Do not use Sinrix to build a competing product, or to benchmark it for publication, without our written agreement.
12. Our property
Sinrix, its software, its agents' default instructions, its design and its names and marks belong to us and our licensors. While your subscription is active, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Sinrix under these terms. Changes you make to your agents' instructions are your content.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, Sinrix is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that what agents produce will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose, or that connected services will keep working with it. Some laws do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
14. Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused. Our total liability for all claims arising from these terms or Sinrix in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, nor to your obligation to pay fees or your obligations under section 15.
15. Indemnity
You will defend us against any claim by a third party arising from your content, from your use of Sinrix in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or from what your agents send or do on your behalf, and you will pay the damages and reasonable costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement. We will tell you promptly about such a claim and let you control its defense.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. For a material change, we email account owners at least 30 days before it applies. If you keep using Sinrix after it applies, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, cancel before then.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Sinrix is organized, without regard to its rules on conflicts of laws, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not settled between us.
Before going to court, write to legal@sinrix.com and give us 30 days to try to settle the dispute with you in good faith.
18. General
- These terms, with the documents in section 1, are the whole agreement between us about Sinrix.
- You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, and will tell you.
- If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not giving it up.
- Neither of us is responsible for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as outages of the internet or of providers, disasters or acts of government.
- We send notices to the email address on your account. Send notices to us at legal@sinrix.com.
- We are independent parties. Nothing in these terms makes us partners, agents or employees of each other.
