The short version

  • Your agents act in your name, so these rules cover what they do as well as what you do.
  • No spam, no unlawful outreach, no impersonation and no scraping of people's data.
  • Follow the rules of every app you connect, and of every law that applies to your messages.
  • We may pause a brand right away to stop serious harm, and tell you why.

1. Who this applies to

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to you, to everyone you invite to your brands, and to everything your brands' agents do, because agents act in your name and inside the access you give them. If an agent does something this policy forbids, it counts as if you had done it.

2. Messages and outreach

In short: Agents can write to people for you. Make sure every message is one you are allowed to send.

  • Do not send unsolicited bulk email or messages, or messages to people with no lawful basis for contacting them.
  • Follow the laws on electronic marketing where your recipients are, such as CAN-SPAM in the US, PECR in the UK, the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU, CASL in Canada and the Spam Act in Australia. Where they require prior consent, get it. Include your real business details and a way to opt out where they are required, and honor opt-outs promptly.
  • Do not use Sinrix for automated calls or text messages without the consent the law requires, such as under the TCPA in the US.
  • Do not buy, rent or harvest lists of people to contact.

3. Honesty and impersonation

  • Do not impersonate a person or an organization, or suggest a connection to one you do not have.
  • Do not hide that a message or a piece of content was made with AI where the law requires you to say so.
  • Do not publish false reviews or testimonials, or mislead people about a product, a price or who they are dealing with.

4. People's data

  • Do not scrape, harvest or compile personal data about people without a lawful basis.
  • Do not process special categories of personal data (health, religion, sexual life, biometric or genetic data, and the like), or data about children, unless the law allows it and you have the safeguards it requires.
  • Do not use Sinrix to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people, such as hiring, credit, housing, insurance, health or legal matters, without a person reviewing each one.
  • Do not track or surveil people without their knowledge where the law requires it.

5. Connected apps and websites

  • Follow the terms, policies and rate limits of every app you connect and every site your agents read.
  • Connect only accounts you are allowed to connect, and do not use an app's access to reach data its owner did not mean to share.
  • Do not use agents to get around paywalls, sign-ins, captchas or other controls on sites they read.

6. Unlawful and harmful content

  • Nothing illegal, and nothing that infringes intellectual property or other rights, including passing off others' work as your own.
  • No content that sexually exploits children, promotes violence or terrorism, harasses or threatens people, or incites hatred.
  • No fraud, phishing, scams, pyramid schemes or deceptive financial offers.
  • Nothing that facilitates weapons capable of mass harm, or illegal goods and services.

7. Sinrix itself

  • Do not attack, overload, probe or disrupt Sinrix, other brands or the services we connect to, or try to reach data that is not yours.
  • Do not upload malware, or use agents to write or spread it.
  • Do not try to get around the safety measures of Sinrix or of the AI models it uses, including by instructions hidden in content to make agents misbehave.
  • Do not get around usage limits or billing, share sign-ins across businesses, or resell Sinrix without our written agreement.

8. What we do about a breach

If we find use that breaks this policy, we may remove content, disconnect an app, pause a brand or suspend an account. When harm is serious or ongoing we act right away; otherwise we tell you first and give you the chance to put it right. A paused brand keeps its data. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

9. Reporting misuse

If you think a brand on Sinrix is being used against this policy, for example to send you messages you did not want, write to legal@sinrix.com with what happened and any messages you received. We look into every report.
